Working with and giving back to the community has always been a focus in my life, and I have continued to do that throughout my college career. Through the Institute for Studies in Global Prosperity and Junior Youth Spiritual Empowerment Program, I have worked to mentor and encourage future generations to go through life with skills and knowledge that will contribute to the advancement of society.
As an LSU student, I have volunteered for the Louisiana School for the Deaf and Habitat for Humanity. I am the LSU Student Chapter Vice President of IIDA (International Interior Design Association) for the 2023-2024 academic year, and have been a member of IDSO (Interior Design Student Organization) for all four years. I have represented the LSU School of Interior Design at NeoCon, the Healthcare Design Conference, as an LSU College of Art + Design Ambassador, and competed in the AIA Houston Health SES 2024 – Student Design Charette.

During my time at LSU, I have been fortunate to be able to attend and participate in several conferences and design charettes.

I participated in the AIA Houston Health SES 2024 Student Charette along with three of my fellow LSU students. With an interdisciplinary team with members from three other schools, my team and I won "Holistic Design Response" for our design.
healthcare design
Alongside several LSU students, I participated in the "Designing Equitable Experiences in Health Care" workshop. We also attended sessions and panels at the Healthcare Design Conference.

I participated in the IIDA x NeoCon Student Design Charette representing the Delta Regional Chapter with fellow LSU Student Lauren Chenevert.
